Children's Theater

The Theater des Kindes is one of the most important theater houses for young audiences in Austria.

New productions (mainly original and premier performances) and re-recordings of successful pieces are on the schedule year after year. Each season reaches over 22,000 visitors with well over 300 performances. International co-productions and, last but not least, the Schäxpir Theater Festival have made the theater of the child known beyond the borders of Austria in recent years.
