The chapel is used for devotions and prayer nights as welll as small memorial services, baptisms and weddings. When somebody has passed away in Litzlberg, the old death bell is rung.

The chapel is located on the Attersee federal road B 151 in Litzlberg at the junction Seehofstraße and has been owned by the the municipality of Attersee am Attersee since 1992.
