The two unequal towers are characteristic of the current appearance of the church, which was first mentioned in a document in 824. The enlargement begun in the 16th century was thwarted by the turmoil of the Reformation - the gap between the already completed nave and the existing tower was closed with a second, smaller tower. The greatest treasure is the "beautiful Madonna" above the high altar
