The first church was probably built in the 8th century, in the 12th century it was already a parish church and the present church is a late Gothic building with a Baroque onion dome (around 1772). Major fire in 1852, the baroque helmet was added in 1863, interior: baroqueisation in 1722, stucco work by Joh.Mich.Vierthaler, a side altar (plague altar) has statues by Meinrad Guggenbichler (1714). The last restoration took place in 1987.
