Welcome to the Local Heritage House of Attersee!

The Local Heritage House was erected on the foundations of Attersee Castle at the end of the 18th century.

This historic building formerly served as Attersee´s elementary school, then as kindergarten and apartment building. Later, some of the rooms were dedicated to the heritage society of Attersee.
During the summer months, the Heimathaus hosts exhibitions and a variety of events all through the year. A collection of rural working equipment is currently under construction.
