Visit a jewel that has always been an insider tip - the Altenburg filial church. The highlights of this church are the magnificent frescoes in the crypt and the newly restored 300-year-old organ positive.

Followed by a guided tour of the museum (next door) - where you can learn more about the incredible story of Joachim Enzmilner.

You can hike to Windhaag via the Enzmilner culture trail (1.0 hour) - here you have the opportunity to visit the armoury of the civic guard and the home parlour of the Goldhauben group as well as the castle ruins.
