A Warm Welcome to Hafnerhaus! Pottery classes are held regularly at Hafnerhaus Building. The showroom in the former combustion chamber has ancient ceramics on display. At the Hafnerhaus Gallery you can admire Etruscan Ceramics (700 BC) while the Gallery in the Attic offers changing exhibitions on the theme.

From the early 18th century until 1930, this historic building was the home of elaborate stove fitters. The combustion chamber is the oldest part of the building.

The Museum at the Kiln
You´ll find the Museum at the former vaulted kiln. In this outstanding combustion chamber you can trace the history of this old trade, that has been producing earthenware since the 18th century.

Etruscan Ceramics
The beginnings of European culture are closely associated with Greek and Etruscan pottery. Bishop Wagner entrusted his collection of valuable Etruscan ceramics to the Hafnerhaus Museum, providing visitors with insights into a fascinating era.

Earthenware
The delightful earthenware produced at Hafnerhaus, including bowls, jugs, vases, and cups, make perfect gifts for loved ones. The Shop is open during Museum Hours and by appointment.
