ALPINE MOMENTS
Following the traces of E.T. Compton
Photography and Painting by Michael Zacek
Michael Zacek captures the archaic effect of nature in a mood-enhancing and technically sophisticated way. He personally walks all the displayed motifs and first captures the mountain world with his camera. Through intense post-processing with strong texture and color application, three-dimensionality is regained. The resulting spatial "real vision" gives his works a deep and vibrant quality. On the occasion of the 175th anniversary of E.T. Compton's birth, Michael Zacek follows the traces and motifs of the alpine painter.
