Welcome to the Maria Bründl pilgrimage church - Bründlkirche
The Maria Bründl (Glatzinger Bründl) pilgrimage church was built near a spring whose water was believed to have healing properties and attracted many pilgrims. The current church was rebuilt in 1978 and preserves numerous elements of the old chapel, including votive images, the Stations of the Cross, a statue of the Virgin Mary, and the “Eternal Light” lamp. Particularly worth seeing are the altar with the shrine of the Virgin Mary, the stained-glass windows from Schlierbach, and the organ. The church is also a popular venue for weddings today. A Way of the Cross leading toward Matzelsdorf begins in front of the church.The pilgrimage church is open to the public;
