Gigerlitzbrunnen Fountain

Grein, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The stone well in front of the Danube view of the new city hall, called in documents “Gigerlitzbrunnen”, was constructed by the Italian stonemason master Spozzi around 1636. In the water thrown coins are supposed to promise the donator a happy return to Grein.
Legend tells also that whoever drinks from its water will always come back to Grein.
