The parish church in Ampflwang was dedicated to St Martin and St Mary.

The interior was redesigned during the renovation in 2018: the chancel, sacristy, benches and floor in particular were upgraded with more brightness and simplicity. A new Marian window was created in collaboration with the artist Lena Göbel from Frankenburg.
