A fruit tree as a living space:


Beautiful orchards adorn the landscape of Upper Austria. They offer a perfect space to live for animals and plants. Have a look into a small paradise and get to know the secrets of the habitant orchard.

Pupils can, depending on the season, discover and find out a lot of different things:
* traditional sorts and new sorts of apples
* stock of trees, size, blossoming of a tree, age
* trees as habitants for animals
* cultivation of the orchard, flowering season
* plant a tree
* observe beneficial animals and varmints
* fruit harvest and marketing
* help to cultivate and harvest the fruits
* production of "apple-chips"
* get an insight into the production process of the native agriculture
* execute simple efficiency calculations

Transfer of knowledge- from the blossom to the apple:

* development of an apple
* importance of the ground in the orchard
* living beings in the ground
* quality of an apple
* what happens to the apple
* marketing of the products

We do not only offer tours we also sell the products from our farm.
A very popular idea for a present are hampers with healthy products, or gift boxes made of wood with fine schnapps or "sign of the zodiac bottles".
We offer to make labels with a personal inscription or the company logo on request.
