The Parish Church is dedicated to the "Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary" and first appeared in historical documents in the year 1151. The Church that you see today is mainly of the late Gothic era around 1500, except for the tower that was extended and remodelled in Baroque style in 1721. Some augmentations and alterations date from the time around 1900. The Church´s interior is all in neo-Gothic style.
The rectory and vicarage are to be found in immediate vicinity to the Church. The War Memorial was erected on the eastern wall of the Church to commemorate the soldiers killed and missed in action in both World Wars.
