Moosdorf, Oberösterreich, Österreich
- Suitable for groups
Moosdorf´s heart is its Parish Church!
The beautiful church was built by the renowned architect Josef Vilzkotter in 1682. The one-nave church in Baroque style is an affiliated church of Eggelsberg.
Several fires destroyed the church tower which was rebuilt in 1804. Until 1785 Moosdorf was an affiliated church of the Eggelsberg Parish. Only in 1784 Moosdorf became an independent parish.
The most remarkable feature is the church´s interior in Baroque style. This house of God is consecrated to the martyr Saint Stephen.
