Martinskirche

St Martin's Church is certainly one of the oldest buildings in the town of Attnang-Puchheim.

The church was probably built between the 9th and 11th centuries. The church was first mentioned in a document in 1367. For centuries, St Martin's Church was a branch church of the parish of Schöndorf and became the parish church of the parish village of Attnang in 1784.

In 1742, the church was baroqueised under the Count of Salburg, who was also the owner of the Puchheim estate. Since the completion of St. Spirit Church in the centre of Attnang in 1936, St. Martin's Church has mainly served the population as a funeral and wedding church.
