The chapel, which can accommodate around 70 visitors, crowns the 879 metre high Kammererberg to the north of the Kammererhof.
Built in the stone block style; arched windows and door enclose granite walls. In 1937, the neo-Gothic wooden altar was moved from the parish church in Weitersfelden to the pilgrimage chapel.The chamber cross can be viewed at any time.
From the centre of Kaltenberg 1.4 km north to Kaltenberger Bezirksstraße, 80 m straight ahead, turn slightly left towards Ebenort, approx. 3.8 km straight ahead to Silberberg. From Silberberg there is a footpath to the Kammererkreuz.
