Explore and experience herbs in the herbal power source
In the parish ditch located approx. 200 metres outside the village square, i.e. above the church and at the Hirschbach herb gate, there are many possibilities for the enthusiastic hiker.With a walking time of approx. 1 hour, numerous mountain herbs are described along the herb trail.
In the herb garden at high altitude, you will also find very rare herbs with a wide variety of healing and flavouring properties. There is a herb for and against everything - from A(rnika) to Z(itronenmellisse).

The herb garden of the Abraham Hof, located at almost 800 m above sea level, displays over 100 different types of herbs and flowers, which were once a must in every farmer's garden.
The magnificent view of the Mühlviertel hills invites you to linger.
Tip: Try a refreshing herbal drink prepared by the farmer's wife herself!

Travel by car:
From Linz via the A7 (Mühlkreisautobahn) towards Prag/Freistadt as far as Unterweitersdorf, then turn left after the end of the motorway (towards Prag/Freistadt) and continue on the B125 to Freistadt. In Freistadt turn left towards Bad Leonfelden (B38). After approx. 1 km, turn left again towards Hirschbach.
Travelling by train:
Take the train from Linz main station, change there to the Linz-Summerau line, get off at Trölsberg (train station near Freistadt).
