The Gahberg observatory is located at 860 metres above sea level and is about 15 minutes by car from Weyregg am Attersee. It is run by the Astronomischer Arbeitskreis Salzkammergut. As far as the situation allows, guided tours of the observatory are possible.

A1 from Vienna / Linz - exit Schörfling - B152 to Weyregg
From the west: Coming via Bad Ischl through the Weißenbachtal on the B 152 via Steinbach to Weyregg.
There are plenty of parking spaces available nearby.
Train:
Coming from Salzburg or Linz / Vienna to Attnang-Puchheim or Vöcklabruck and then by bus no. 562 to Weyregg at the bridge left towards Bach Gahberg Miglberg then at the crossroads turn left into Gahbergstrasse.
