Builder: Linden village community On 15 November 1870, a fire broke out in the "Moar" inn due to doughnut baking, which incinerated the left-hand row of houses in the village of Linden. This chapel was built in gratitude that the right-hand side was spared from the flames. Since then, the people of Linden have held regular services in this chapel.
