Baroque church Through the suburb, you cross the Vöcklabrücke (town name!), called "Dörflbrücke", to the church of St. Ägydi ("Dörflkirche").
Built by Pilgrim von Weng (12th century), rebuilt around 1688 by C. A. Carlone into a cross-domed church (frescoes by C. A. Bussi). During renovation work in 1980, gilded copper plates with the image of Christ ("Vöcklabrucker Christus") - presumably book fittings - were found. Attached to the original church was a Christian hospice (the third largest in the German-speaking world at the time) as well as the rectory, which is still preserved today.
