Angling in Mattighofen

Mattighofen´s first Sports Angling Club has a lot to offer - Three excellent fishing waters!

Badhausweiher pond in Mattighofen is the club´s largest fishing pond covering a total surface of 2000 m². The smaller Färberweiher pond features excellent water quality and is famous for its trout and grayling population. A fish farming area comprising a small island in the center of the lake is the most significant highlight. The third oasis for angling enthusiasts is the Kühbach brook boasting a remarkable salmonid fish population in a natural setting.

The waters vary considerably in depth, with pools, riffles, boulders, fish shelters, and are famous for the excellent water quality.

The fish population in our region comprises the following species: grayling, brook trout, rainbow trout, river perch, bream, pike, carp, tench.

After an eventful and, hopefully, successful angling day you are invited to get together in the homey fishermen´s hut where culinary delights and fine drinks are served.
