Edtbauer Riding Farm

Weyer, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The Reiterhof Edtbauer of the Krenn family is situated in a quiet location on a sunny high plateau. Riding holidays for children and young people at the organic riding farm with pedagogically trained carers, a varied social programme and professional riding lessons!
Your children are in good hands with us. We have been offering our riding weeks with childcare during the holidays for twenty years. Our pedagogically trained carers organise a creative handicraft programme, karaoke show, sausage barbecue at the campfire, fashion show, torchlight hike, talent show, ... with the children.

Our Haflingers look forward to welcoming horse lovers from near and far every summer. Riding lessons are given by our professionally trained attendants. Our bright & friendly indoor riding arena (20 x 40 m) is ideally suited for riding lessons, especially for beginners, and our well-kept dressage arena is also available for advanced riders. A long ride through our meadows and woods for advanced riders and a smaller ride with accompaniment for beginners are fixed points in every riding week.

Almost all of the school horses come from the farm's own Haflinger breed and are very good-natured. A new stable has been built for our school horses; a roofed washing area with lighting has also been built. Of course, there are also enough paddocks and pastures for our horses to relax from the stressful everyday life as school horses.

Facilities at the riding school
Accommodation is in our two, four or six bedded rooms with bath and WC. We also provide hand and bath towels. Each sleeping place has its own shelf as well as light and power socket. Of course, each child has its own box; there is also a table and sufficient chairs in each room.

Catering at the Reiterhof
We attach great importance to homemade specialities, fresh ingredients from the region and lovingly prepared children's menus.

Location of the Reiterhof
Our organic Reiterhof is in a quiet, sunny location with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains of the Kalkalpen National Park.

Guests have access to 3 tennis courts and the possibility of riding courses. The Edtbauer is a popular destination for country school weeks. During the holidays, children's riding weeks are offered with round-the-clock supervision by pedagogically trained staff.

* Cross-country course is unlimited!
* Groups: maximum 30 persons.
* Riding training only on request!
