Gstöttner Horseback Riding Park

The "Gstöttner" riding park, centrally located in the Mühlviertel, centre of the MV Alm riding trail network, guarantees fun and relaxation on horseback.

Uniquely situated on the Mühlviertler Alm, nestled in a reserve for the preservation of fauna and flora, the Gstöttner Riding Park is a guarantee for joie de vivre and relaxation!

Location of the riding centre
In the middle of the beautiful, typically Mühlviertel landscape, on a hill with a view of the Ruttenstein ruins and the Naarntal valley below, the newly built riding centre rises up after a fire in 1999 and nestles into the landscape. The farm is located 2km outside the village of Schönau.

The Kriechbaumer family runs the farm with love and expertise, offering a wide range of options for all guests, whether sport, leisure or trail riders. In our own equestrian café-restaurant, the palate is spoilt with freshly prepared home cooking and real "delicacies", the comfortable rooms as well as the sauna and beautiful garden for convivial get-togethers make every rider's heart beat faster.
