The beautiful village of Grünbach in the Freiwald cross-country skiing paradise is looking forward to your visit. The starting point for the cross-country ski trails is right next to the famous St. Michael ob Rauchenödt church. You can take a break at the Forellenwirt Kastler to warm up and fortify yourself.

Hausloipe: easy circuit - particularly suitable for beginners and families with children. Leads along the forest from the start and thus offers a nice introduction.
  • Skating trail: approx. 3 km circuit, does not cross the road
  • Children's trail: directly in front of the Forellenwirt - also ideal for beginners. The entire trail can be seen from the start and from the guest room. With beautiful children's motifs!
  • Sandlloipe: Start behind the Forellenwirt - a short but steep ascent to the winter bikes in Spörbichl. In Spörbichl you can choose between 3 connections: Windhaag 10 km, Luckawirt 5 km, Sandl 6 km. ATTENTION: This trail is currently (as of December 2022) not passable!
  • Harraulo trail: circular route - route: from the beginning like the house trail, but extended by 2 km
  • Hochlandloipe: encircles the entire high plateau along the watershed: leads past the Feldaist source and through the village of Heinrichschlag.
Total length approx. 30 km
