Cross-country skiing fun in the Färbermarkt - and the sun is your companion!

The fog stays in the valley. Those who glide along the Gutau high-altitude trail, from farmhouse to farmhouse, have the sun as their companion! The start of the high-altitude trails (27, 28, 28a) is on the so-called "Moarhöhe" at the small cross-country car park next to the Schöferhof estate road. The short circuit can be completed in half an hour, the long circuit should take about an hour. If there is enough snow, there is also a short skating track next to the Schöferhof high-altitude trail (28a). The start of the Färberloipe (26) is in Tannbach/Au at Zierbach, where you can park at the Mufferlteich pond. The Färberloipe then runs along the Zierbach stream before joining the high-altitude trails after a climb. On the return journey, pay attention to the steep descent! If you are unsure, it is advisable to take off your skis.
