Kneipp-Urtl

Probably the most beautiful legend in Peuerbach centres around the "Urtln":
Legend has it that the name "Urtl" is derived from "judgement": A man sentenced to death, who had killed his brother out of jealousy, promised the population suffering from a water shortage a never-ending source of water. When this was actually found, the offender was pardoned. Since then, however, the spring has bubbled cool and fresh; and everyone who drinks from it remains connected to the town of Peuerbach.
Three of the "Urtl basins" are freely accessible. Here you can do something for your health and take a dip.
