With the 4-city railway through the Eferdinger Landl to Peuerbach!
Electric, i.e. environmentally friendly, energy-saving and safe, the Linzer Lokalbahn, affectionately known as <LILO>, has not only become indispensable for school and commuter transport but, together with freight transport, has developed into the most important regional railway in the Linz catchment area in recent years and thus the "backbone" of public transport. With its integration into Linz's main railway station in 2005, the <LILO> has become even more important.
Starting from the provincial capital Linz, the route leads through the scenic "Eferdinger Landl" to the romantic Aschachtal valley to Waizenkirchen and Peuerbach, or to Neumarkt-K. with connections to Passau, Wels, Linz, Vienna or Salzburg. Group trips, school and company outings and trips into the countryside for young and old are also particularly popular.
