Enchanting Leithental valley The approximately 2.5-kilometre-long Leithenbach breakthrough valley offers a wealth of natural beauty and can be explored on wonderfully shady hiking trails. On the hike, you can discover wooded boulder streams, among other things. The valley is also known as the "Valley of the Seven Mills", as there were once seven mills along the stream - making the hike a search for traces of craftsmanship and history. Over the course of time, the mills disappeared and new small power stations were built. Their operation is explained on information boards. "Ludwig's Rastplatzl" is a good starting point. There you will find a signpost, table and benches for resting and a car park for hikers. From there, cross the bridge over the Leithenbach and then turn right. Continue along the signposts indicating a circular route including the "Leithentalblick" viewpoint.
