The small church (directly opposite the parish church) was probably founded by Barbara von Wallsee around 1500, as evidenced by its late Gothic design. The church was spared in the fire of the Peasants' War in 1626. A commemorative picture from 1644 of the peasant uprisings shows a contemporary view of Peuerbach. The little church was baroqueised. The side altarpieces were painted by the local Stainer family. The modern stained glass windows were made by Prof. Rudolf Kolbitsch. Weekday services, baptisms and prayers for the dead take place in the small church.
