Sigharting Castle

Sigharting, Oberösterreich, Österreich
  • Suitable for groups

The village is dominated by the Pürchinger castle, which is over 400 years old. The picturesque Sigharting Castle, built in 1570 by Hector von Pürching, was restored by the municipality at considerable expense and today presents itself as a meeting place where society, culture and tradition take centre stage. As a place for communication, culture and events, the numerous rooms offer many other possibilities for events such as birthday parties, company celebrations, seminars and workshops, lectures, concerts, readings and weddings.
The historic rooms can be used individually and offer numerous possibilities for events. The arcades in the castle's inner courtyard are well worth a visit.

Visits to the castle and reservations can be arranged with the Sigharting municipal office (Tel. 07766/2405-0, Marianne Kislinger).
