Hackledt Castle

Hackledt Castle was once a noble residence near Eggerding. The "Hacköder" were first mentioned as the lords of this castle around 1390. They owned it until 1800, when Baron Johann von Peckenzell inherited the castle and sold it to Reichersberg Abbey in 1837. In 1928, Josef Großbötzl, the owner of the "Koblergut hinter dem Schachen", acquired the castle.
The current owners Irmgard and Peter Wildi run an inn in Hackledt Castle ("Schlossgasthof Hackledt").
