Kimpling filial church Due to its elevated location in the village of Kimpling, an agricultural village with around 230 inhabitants, the church offers a charming sight. "A Kircherl looks from the mountain into the valley", as the "Kimplingerlied" song goes. The church is built in the late Gothic style and is dedicated to St Laurentius. Kimpling is an affectionate village, and the sense of togetherness of the people of Kimpling in their commitment to common goals is considered exemplary. This was already the case in 1783, when the people of Kimpling went as far as the emperor to preserve their church. The church, school, fire brigade, band and Goldhauben group give the people of Kimpling a certain independence.
