The history of the parish: Polling became a "Josephine parish" in 1784 and was legally elevated to its own parish in 1899. The parish church of St. Andreas was built around 1845 in the neo-Gothic style, but was later baroqueised and furnished with neo-Gothic altars. Particularly worth seeing are the band and lattice stucco by Johann Michael Vierthaler (around 1730), the memorial fresco "The Good and the Bad Prayer" and the stone relief "Christ on the Mount of Olives" on the outer wall. The interior and exterior of the church were extensively restored in 1995 and 1996. Office hours of the parish office: Wednesday: 8.30 to 11.30 a.m. Friday: 4 to 6 pm Saturday: 8 am to 10 am
