The late Gothic parish church in Tarsdorf is dedicated to St Michael. It was built between 1460 and 1475 by the master of the church in Asten near Tittmoning (Bavaria). The church is a single-nave Gothic building, the west tower is 48 metres high. The church is surrounded by a cemetery. Certain peculiarities of the service indicate that although Tarsdorf was not the original parish church, it was the residence of the parish priest of Ostermiething. He moved there around 1390. Tarsdorf became an independent parish in 1786. Church services: Saturday: 7.30 pm (winter: 4 pm)Sunday: 9.45 am (last Sunday of the month: 8.15 am)
