The parish library is a public library run by the parish of Freistadt. It is open to all interested parties.
Books, audio books, DVDs and games as well as a large selection of magazines are available to our users during our opening hours .
Library media can be borrowed for 3 weeks at a time, with the exception of magazines and DVDs (max. 1 week).
Renewals
DVDs and magazines can be renewed once, all other media can be renewed twice.
Renewals must be made within the loan period. However, this is only possible if no reservation has been made.
The volume fee will be charged once again for renewals.
Reminder
Late fees will be charged if the return deadline is exceeded. Postage and late fees will be charged if reminders are sent.
Advance booking
Reservations and renewals of individual media are also possible using our online service.
The medium will be reserved for you for 10 days after notification.
If a public holiday falls on one of the opening days, the library remains closed!

The public library of the parish of Freistadt is located in the vicarage, Dechanthofplatz 1, Freistadt
on the 2nd floor (lift available)
From 3 April 2018, parking will cost in the city centre will cost 0.50 cents for 30 minutes, 1 euro for 60 minutes and 1.50 euros for 90 minutes. As before free for the first quarter of an hour for short errands. From April, parking will be free every day from 5 pm can be parked for free!
