As of January 2018, the Spörbichl volunteer fire brigade consists of 81 active members (including two authorised personnel from other fire brigades), 17 reservists and one young firefighter. The active members are supported by 9 women.
The total number of members is therefore 99, making the Spörbichl fire brigade the third largest fire brigade in the compulsory area of the municipality of Windhaag bei Freistadt.
The photo shows the Spörbichl fire brigade after a Floriani parade, where traditionally a very large part of the team always takes part in honour of the patron saint of the fire brigade.
