Innovation in the timber house construction sector

In 1999, the Holzforum Hirschbach association built a multi-purpose fire brigade building in timber construction. This building houses rooms for the volunteer fire brigade and a state-of-the-art seminar room with bar area on the upper floor. The seminar room offers space for approx. 60 people. The seating arrangement can be customised and all technical equipment (overhead projector, video/data projector, notebook, internet access, etc.) is available. The Holzforum association looks forward to your visit and welcomes your association/organisation to Hirschbach!

Accessibility / arrival

Arrival by car:
From Linz via the A7 (Mühlkreis motorway) towards Prague/Freistadt as far as Unterweitersdorf, then turn left after the end of the motorway (towards Prague/Freistadt) and continue on the B125 to Freistadt. In Freistadt turn left towards Bad Leonfelden (B38). After approx. 1 km, turn left again towards Hirschbach.

Travelling by train:
Take the train from Linz main station, change there to the Linz-Summerau line, get off at Trölsberg (train station near Freistadt).
