Nestled in the heart of the Salzkammergut, between Strobl on Lake Wolfgang and Bad Ischl, Pension Zur Wacht awaits you—a place to relax, feel at home, and enjoy yourself.

As a bed-and-breakfast, we offer cozy rooms, warm hospitality, and a generous breakfast buffet for the perfect start to your day. Its quiet location makes the guesthouse the ideal starting point for excursions around Lake Wolfgang, bike rides, hikes, and many other adventures in the Salzkammergut.

Having taken over this traditional family-run business, Clemens Lindenthaler is now the third generation to manage the Wacht, combining time-honored traditions with fresh ideas. In addition to the bed-and-breakfast, the focus today is primarily on the spacious event rooms for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, and seminars. Hot meals are, of course, also available for events upon request.
