In 1630, the house on Berggasse was built as a ‘blacksmith’s cottage’. After nine years of lying dormant, it reopened in June 2021 under the fifth generation of the family and now invites you to linger in the charming atmosphere of the 1950s and 1960s.
A small menu (goulash, Brettljause, Essigwurst, etc.), desserts from the in-house patisserie and freshly tapped beer from the barrel await you, alongside a cosy atmosphere and cheerful conversation. A lovingly designed play area has been set up in the adjoining building for our younger guests.
Available to order in advance, for large or small groups, is roast pork with dumplings and warm Viennese coleslaw.
Cakes and tarts can also be made to order, tailored entirely to your preferences.
We look forward to welcoming you
Christina and Roland Heißl
