The Sammerhof is located in the Kirchham village of Kampesberg, in the middle of the wooded hills not far from the Traunstein and the Traunsee in Gmunden. Quiet spot that is ideally created to produce fine wines from the fruits of nature. Noble brandies have been made here since the 1920s. Franz Miglbauer already had to take care of the kettle as a little boy and eventually developed into one of the leading schnapps distillers in Austria before he died in 2007 at the age of 86. What remains is the curiosity and enthusiasm for schnapps distilling, which Franz Miglbauer's generation of grandchildren is now successfully continuing. Tradition, loving craftsmanship and modern distillery technology lay the foundation for our top-quality distillates. Perfection and attention to detail ensure the quality of our products.

Constant striving for improvement and the urge to try something new are our constant companions. The processing begins with the careful selection of the fully ripe fruits, herbs and spices. Only the best ingredients are just good enough for our products. We are uncompromising when it comes to the final manual inspection.
