Renate and Hannes Hemetsberger are looking forward to numerous guests after the new takeover of the inn, which has been run by the Fimberger family in the fourth generation since 1909.
In 2 restaurants for 60 and 35 people, the Hemetsberger family serves regional delicacies as well as fresh farm products - accompanied by matching Austrian wines, local beer or even the fresh Frankenmarkt mineral water. Specialties of the house are the homemade bread as well as the creamy ice cream. The inn also has vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as meals for people with food intolerances (gluten-free, lactose-free, etc.) to offer. Another speciality are the healthy food bowls, which are prepared with love.
Whether vacation guest, business traveler, motorcyclist and cyclist, buses and private groups - everyone is hungry and thirsty and is welcome at the Gasthof Post!

From Vienna/Linz via motorway A1 – Exit St. Georgen im Attergau – right on the Attergaustraße (L540) to Frankenmarkt.
From Bad Ischl – Weißenbachtal (B153) – follow B152 to Unterach and then B151 to Attersee than left to the Attergaustraße (L540) to Frankenmarkt.
By train:
From Salzburg or Linz/Vienna with „Austrian Federal Railways“ or „Westbahn“ to Attnang Puchheim - via regional train to Frankenmarkt
By plane:
Arrival to Airport Salzburg or Linz – with the car/bus or train to Frankenmarkt.
