hunter house "Jagahäusl" in the Bodinggraben

Molln, Oberösterreich, Österreich
  • Garden / Patio

The Jägerhaus is located in one of the most beautiful valley closures in the Kalkalpen National Park, the Bodinggraben. It was lovingly restored by the Austrian Federal Forests and, together with the Bodinggraben forester's lodge, the Rosalien Chapel and the Adjunktenstöckl, forms a unique cultural jewel.
The Jausenstation is the starting point for hikes, mountain bike tours, horseback riding, ski tours, snowshoe hikes and guided ranger tours to the red deer feeding in the Bodinggraben.

The Jägerhaus is worth a visit at any time of year. In the warm season, you can enjoy culinary delights on the terrace as well as sensational views of the Sengsen Mountains. Children can build dams and create streams at the water play station, go on a voyage of discovery in the crystal-clear stream and romp around safely on the large play area.

In winter, the Bodinggraben is transformed into a splendid white snowy landscape and the Jägerhaus with its warm parlour is a great place to stop for a bite to eat.
