Comfortable hut in the valley of Gosau!

The Moosalm & Kuhbar,

is located directly next to the valley station of the Hornspitzbahn in Gosau at Dachstein, in the middle Gosau valley. Here you can spend cosy hours with family and friends and enjoy culinary delights. From our winter garden or the terrace you have a beautiful view on the Gosaukamm.

In winter the hut offers the ideal place to stop for skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers and ofc course Aprés Ski. But also in summer the Mossalm & Kuhbar invites you to spend some cosy hours together!

The hut is open from December till the mid of June and from the mid of July till December.

Highway exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the Moosalm & Kuhbar.

from Linz:
highway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the Moosalm & Kuhbar.

from Vienna/Graz:
Liezen highway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, continue on the B145 towards Bad Goisern, take the B166 ramp to Golling/Gosau/Obertraun/Hallstatt/Bad Goisern-Süd, turn right at the Gosaumühle junction towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the Moosalm & Kuhbar.

from Villach:
Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the Moosalm & Kuhbar.

By train
Route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541 in the direction of Gosaumühle, change to bus 542 in the direction of Gosausee

By bus (Sundays irregular):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to bus 542 in the direction of Gosausee, get off at the "Hornspitzlift" stop
