Gasthaus Bauer - Wirt in Steinbrunn

At Gasthaus Bauer - better known as "Wirt in Steinbrunn" - regional and seasonal products are used. The Bauer family attaches great importance to hospitality and cosiness.

The family business has been owned by the Bauer family since 1953. It is currently run by the third and fourth generation. The centrepiece of the house is the restaurant, where young and old meet at the regulars' table or at the bar. Hot meals are served all day. The daily menu offers new specialities every day. There are also two lunch menus on weekdays.

In summer, guests are drawn to the wonderfully shady chestnut beer garden with a view of the Bavarian Forest. There is a children's playground next to the garden for younger guests.

The inn offers space for a variety of events. The dining room seats approx. 180 people, the Brunnenstüberl and the adjoining room each seat approx. 30 people.
In 2015, the old barn was converted into the "Steinbrunner Bauernstadl". This is open for groups of 50 people or more and offers space for a total of approx. 100 guests.
