The traditional Kirchenwirt inn in the heart of Taufkirchen an der Trattnach was granted its licence in 1948 and was placed under protection as an architectural monument due to its wooden block construction style dating back to 1720.
The building has been largely preserved in its original form.
The Kirchenwirt inn was acquired by the Kalteis family in 1990 through various owners and has been successfully kept going to this day. Eating and drinking well keeps body and soul together, and we run our establishment according to this motto.You are very welcome as our guest!
