Hop growing is not only a tradition in the Mühlviertel, but also on our farm, the HopfenErlebnisHof.
In addition to hop growing, the first and only Hop Experience Museum was opened on our farm in 2005. It is particularly suitable for company, club and senior citizen excursions.
During a guided tour, visitors learn everything worth knowing about the hop plant right through to good beer.
Duration approx. one hour with film about the hop harvest.
In the Hopfenstub'n you are spoilt with traditional dishes, delicacies and specialities from the kitchen and cellar of the Mühlviertel. The products are mainly sourced from local farmers. There is bacon, smoked meat, roast meat, salads and vegetables, cider and homemade juices and baked farmer's doughnuts. Beer is of course a must in the drinks menu. Only Mühlviertel beers, but also speciality beers from Mühlviertel breweries are available for tasting.
Our speciality is the Kudl-Mudl in the Rein from 8 persons.
