Bakery Confectionery Café Weinhäupl, Altheim

The Weinhäupl bakery and patisserie has been in family hands since 1604, making it the oldest family-owned bakery in Austria. All baked goods are baked by hand according to traditional family recipes.

The house specialties include fruit bread and Danish pastries, including delicious cinnamon buns and curd cheese golaches.
For a good start to the day, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast in the café.
The Weinhäupl bakery is located along the route of the Roman Cycle Path and the Way of St. James. Cyclists and hikers are very welcome.
In summer you can enjoy one of the many ice cream sundaes in the shady garden.
