World Heritage delicacy all day long at the Steegwirt in Bad Goisern!
Almost 500 years our "old" inn here stands at the intersection of Lake Hallstatt in Steeg / Bad Goisern. The Steegwirt is one of the few surviving Renaissance buildings in the Salzkammergut. In the 16th century, the salt ships changed from the lake to the Traun. This can certainly be imagined today, if you enjoy the atmosphere in the garden under the chestnut trees or on the terrace in a beautiful location. But our rustic restaurant promises cozy hours.
With us come down-to-earth dishes, honest products from the region as well as culinary excursions into the world of delicacies on the plate - that's how the image of the Steegwirt, that our guests and friends appreciate.
We look forward to your visit and are very grateful to welcome you here and to spoil you with culinary delights!
