Welcome to the Gasthof Schobermühle
Beautiful inn with a large garden and pond. Our swimming pond, the carp pond and the two fish ponds offer a wonderful view from our cozy terrace. Enjoy the babbling of the crystal-clear Trambach, which provides comfort and relaxation between the terrace and the pond.
We will spoil you with traditional Austrian cuisine.
Company celebrations, weddings, birthday parties, bus groups, ... are of course also possible outside opening hours upon request.

We recommend travelling by public transport, in combination with the Almtalbahn and bus!
By train: From Wels railway station, take the Almtalbahn (line 153) in the direction of Grünau im Almtal to the Scharnstein/Mühldorf stop. From the railway station a short walk to the town square or bus stop Mühldorf Ort continue with bus line 533. Return from Grünau im Almtal railway station to Wels. Numerous connections from Wels railway station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101)
by bus: OÖVV bus route 533 Gmunden - Scharntein - Grünau - Almsee; bus stop Scharnstein AU (directly next to or opposite the inn) - Projekt Culture.bus.stop - Salzkammergut 2024 - European Capital of Culture
by bike: the Gasthaus Schobermühle inn is located directly on the Traunviertel Tour from Scharnstein in the direction of Gmunden before the Halsgraben turn-off for cyclists or from Gmunden to Scharnstein.
On foot: the Gasthaus Schobermühle is located directly on the Trambachwirte hiking trail and is therefore easy to reach on foot from Scharnstein. Approx. 30 - 40 minutes from the town centre, depending on the route
by car:
Motorway A1 (Westautobahn): Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A9 - exit Ried/Tr. - Voitsdorf - Pettenbach -Scharnstein
Inntal motorway A8 Passau - Wels - Voralpenkreuz A9 - continue as described above. In Scharnstein on the B120 in the direction of Gmunden, directly next to the road before the Halsgraben.
Westautobahn A1: Munich - Salzburg - Regau - B145 in the direction of Gmunden - at the junction with the B120 in the direction of Scharnstein - after the Halsgraben just to the right of the road
