The Prielschutzhaus is an Eldorado for climbers in the Dead Mountains!
The mountaineering opportunities around the Prielschutzhaus are extremely diverse. Mountain hikers, climbers, via ferrata and ski tourers will find a rich field of activity here.
The improvements made to the Prielschutzhaus have also had an impact on areas that normal visitors do not normally get to see. The entire ecosystem of the Prielschutzhaus has been integrated into the high alpine world and the supply system and the kitchen have also been adapted to the latest findings.
The Prielschutzhaus and his team offer the guest pretty much everything that can be expected: the accommodation is far beyond the usual standards, the host is a mountain guide and is happy to provide information about tours and the weather at any time. There are also three separate guest rooms (also suitable for closed groups) and a seminar room for course groups of up to 30 people.

As the owner of the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard, if you are up to 15 years of age, you will receive a stick nail with your voucher card, which you can nail onto your hiking stick. In connection with consumption, this stick nail is free of charge, otherwise it can be purchased for a fee of € 1.50.
The hiking stick and the voucher card are available - only for children up to 15 years - free of charge once at the tourist offices in the region (only not valid for groups).
